Drone Hub Operator – Belgium Deployment

About the role

Skyports is seeking Hub Operators for a six‑month, Belgium‑based deployment. You will support drone flight operations by preparing launch sites, handling ground‑based equipment, and ensuring safe, smooth missions for delivery, inspection and surveillance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and secure drone landing and take‑off points (TOLPs).
• Perform basic aircraft maintenance (Level 1) and manage battery cycles.
• Assist with launch, monitoring and recovery of flights while maintaining visual line of sight when required.
• Identify and report environmental or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance records.
• Handle kit, refuel equipment and keep ground procedures up to date.
• Complete refresher training before each deployment.

Required profile

• Safety‑conscious with a calm, focused approach.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied environments.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home for deployments.
• Practical, hands‑on attitude with tools and equipment.
• Good communicator, reliable, punctual and detail‑oriented.
• Physically able to manage drone and battery handling tasks.

What we offer

• £13 per hour rate.
• Accommodation provided for the duration of the deployment.
• Paid travel when required and up to £20 per day food/drink reimbursement (receipts needed).
