Account Manager – Transport & Logistics (German/French)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to support a leading road transport and logistics provider in Luxembourg. The position focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of freight‑consolidation clients, combining B2B sales expertise with strong relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing client relationships within the Freight Consolidation, Distribution and Special Transport department.
• Prospect and acquire new customers for freight consolidation services.
• Analyse client freight flows, volumes and specific requirements to tailor solutions.
• Prepare proposals, commercial offers and tender documents.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage the request‑for‑quotation process through to contract signing.
• Act as the company’s ambassador within the sales network.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial or sales role.
• Strong knowledge of the transport or logistics sector, preferably freight consolidation and parcel delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive and eager to learn.
• Fluent in German and French; English and Luxembourgish are a plus.
