Communications Manager, Automotive Partnerships and Emerging Products (12-month FTC)

About the role

Amazon is looking for an experienced Communications professional to lead communications for automotive partnerships and emerging products on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will work closely with business leaders to design and execute holistic communications programs that educate and inspire audiences about Amazon’s latest ventures in the automotive and technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute owned and earned communications strategies and messaging for automotive and emerging product initiatives.
• Manage executive speaking and media engagements related to strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Amazon’s communications and business organizations.
• Provide strategic PR counsel and support to business leaders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, issues, and news in automotive and technology.
• Build and sustain media relationships in the technology and automotive sectors.
• Handle complex, fast‑moving communications challenges in dynamic business environments.
• Adapt communications programs for European audiences and local media landscapes.

Required profile

• Professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage high‑profile media engagements.
• Strong understanding of the European automotive landscape and key industry stakeholders.
• German language proficiency at CEFR C1 level or above; additional European language skills are a plus.
