Chocolate Buyer

About the role

As a Chocolate Buyer at Ferrero’s Luxembourg headquarters, you will secure the supply of chocolate, drive cost efficiency and work closely with Planning, Quality, Finance and Operations to ensure business continuity and long‑term category success.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the chocolate category strategy and translate it into concrete actions aligned with group priorities.
• Build budgets and medium‑term plans, guide quota allocation and negotiate contracts to obtain the right quality, service and cost.
• Analyse market trends, compare supplier offers and identify new sourcing opportunities that add value and innovation.
• Support vendor scouting, onboarding and make‑or‑buy decisions while maintaining a competitive supplier landscape.
• Monitor supplier service and quality performance, manage purchase orders and inventory together with planning teams.
• Handle claims, payment follow‑up and ensure sustainability requirements are reflected in agreements.
• Strengthen supplier relationships, apply contract standards and uphold Ferrero’s Code of Business Conduct.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 3 years of procurement experience, including supplier negotiations and market analysis.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Strong prioritisation, problem‑solving and ethical decision‑making skills.
