About the role

The Chief Information Officer will lead the technology function for a leading digital transformation company operating in the banking and financial services sector. The role is based in Luxembourg and requires a senior leader with extensive experience in technology strategy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Ensure availability, security, and resilience of all information systems.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and foster technological innovation.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
• Oversee IT budgets, investments, and long‑term technology planning.
• Guarantee compliance with banking and financial services regulations.
• Collaborate with business units to identify digitalization opportunities.
• Lead cybersecurity programs, technology risk management, and business continuity.
• Coordinate platform modernization, enterprise architecture, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology leadership within banking or financial services.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams at a strategic level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and technology standards for the financial sector.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg.
