Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Buyer (Procurement) role supports NATO operations by managing procurement activities within the PP265 pool. The position requires strong digital skills, fluency in English and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, including preparation and follow‑up of purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP and ensure compliance with NATO procurement regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to secure goods and services.
• Monitor contract performance and support reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Secondary education plus 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience, OR a Master’s degree with 1 year experience in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Fluency in English; beginner knowledge of French is an asset.
• Sound digital literacy and experience with office automation tools.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in SAP.
