Audit Senior – Commercial & Telecommunications

About the role

EY is seeking a highly motivated Audit Senior to join its Assurance team, focusing on commercial, technology, media, entertainment and telecommunications clients. The role involves leading audit engagements, managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior staff while delivering high‑quality assurance across complex reporting environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual financial statement audits under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead, coordinate and develop a team of assistants to ensure effective audit execution.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction.
• Coordinate on‑site fieldwork at client locations and liaise with internal departments.
• Translate audit strategy into effective procedures and deliver assurance services efficiently.
• Apply EY’s Global Audit Methodology to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions and projects, managing risks and identifying improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• 3–6 years of audit experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.
• Experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French are strong advantages.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
