Assistant Accountant – Luxembourg

About the role

Join a global organisation operating in 50+ markets and support the financial operations behind CK Hutchison’s international digital initiatives. As an Assistant Accountant based in Luxembourg, you will work with several key entities, handling reporting, forecasting and day‑to‑day finance tasks that impact teams across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full end‑to‑end payment process, including purchase orders, AP invoices and treasury coordination.
• Handle monthly recharges for Global IT and GSI contracts.
• Prepare journals, post incoming payments and perform bank reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly accruals (ACS) and maintain intercompany balances.
• Maintain the trial balance and complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for Luxcos and Global IT.
• Prepare Luxcos operational reports, quarterly CAS reporting and VAT submissions.
• Keep cost allocations and revenue disbursements accurate and up to date.
• Assist with OTT reporting, roaming partner reconciliations and other ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• Part‑qualified in a relevant accountancy qualification.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, positive mindset and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Strong Excel / Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with Oracle (a plus).
