Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Centre de Musiques Amplifiées – Rockhal is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to strengthen its Finance & Administration team. You will ensure accurate, efficient accounting processes that keep the venue’s operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general, subsidiary and analytical accounting, guaranteeing ledger accuracy.
• Lead quarterly and annual closing processes and produce complete financial statements.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls to protect financial data.
• Manage the end‑to‑end invoicing cycle, from issuance to reconciliation.
• Prepare VAT declarations and statutory reports in line with Luxembourg regulations.
• Collaborate with the ERP referent and operational teams to ensure reliable data flows.
• Continuously improve accounting procedures and promote best practices.
• Supervise and develop the accounting assistant.
• Optimize the use of BOB accounting software and ensure data quality for reporting and management control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC +3) in accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, especially in financial closing and account reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg VAT mechanisms.
• Proficiency in French and English; Luxembourgish or German is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Organised, rigorous and clear communicator.
