Accounting Manager

About the role

This strategic accounting position offers direct exposure to senior leadership within a stable, international environment. Based in Luxembourg, you will support multiple holding companies and collaborate with teams across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for several Luxembourg holding companies under Lux GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Supervise a small team of part‑time accountants.
• Handle multi‑currency transactions (EUR, USD and others).
• Prepare financial reports for senior management.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with international finance teams across Europe.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards and holding structures.
• Proven experience supervising or managing a team.
• Comfortable working with multi‑currency environments.
• High level of accuracy, autonomy and accountability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in French with a good command of English.
