Accountant – Fixed-term (5-6 months)

About the role

Broad Street Luxembourg is seeking an Accountant to cover a parental‑leave replacement. This fixed‑term position (5‑6 months) offers the chance to work in a diverse, international environment linked to the Goldman Sachs group.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain records of financial transactions and prepare interim and annual accounts.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports and communicate results to relevant parties.
• Perform GAAP reconciliations across US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Calculate tax provisions, review tax returns and liaise with tax advisors, auditors and other external partners.
• Coordinate with internal and international departments of Goldman Sachs.
• Handle administrative accounting queries, prepare distribution memorandums and ensure compliance and filing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 2‑5 years of Luxembourg‑based experience in accounting, audit or financial control, preferably with private‑debt exposure.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Independent, detail‑oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Good organizational skills and a hands‑on, team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
