Accountant, Accounts Payable

About the role

Herbalife International Luxembourg is seeking an Accountant specialized in Accounts Payable to join its Finance team. The role is ideal for a numerically‑strong professional who can handle high‑volume invoice processing while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Process large volumes of supplier invoices in line with company policies.
• Manage supplier accounts, resolve queries and maintain strong relationships.
• Support month‑end close by preparing and posting accruals.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with internal controls.
• Maintain accurate records in the AP system and provide timely updates.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles (double‑entry bookkeeping, chart of accounts, accruals, VAT).
• Ability to read, validate and process supplier invoices accurately.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Oracle (or similar major finance system) – strong advantage.
• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) – intermediate proficiency.
