Manager – Maintenance & Engineering Contracts & Sales

About the role

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of about five employees and act as the key interface between Engineering, Finance, Maintenance, suppliers and external customers. The position is based at the Cargolux Maintenance Center in Luxembourg and directly influences fleet availability and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle management of Maintenance & Engineering contracts, from identification to award recommendation.
• Negotiate, administer and govern high‑value technical contracts, ensuring operational continuity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners such as global MROs, OEMs and airlines.
• Oversee maintenance‑related commercial activities, develop a customer portfolio, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Lead negotiations for components pooling agreements, aircraft and component maintenance contracts, and other commercial agreements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management.
• Previous managerial experience with people‑management responsibilities.
• Proven experience in high‑value contract negotiation and procurement best practices.
• Strong verbal and written English, problem‑solving ability and leadership skills.
