Head of Compliance

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting a Head of Compliance for one of its leading financial services clients in Luxembourg. The role will steer regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, and operational resilience across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day compliance covering MiFID II, AML/CFT, CSSF circulars, DORA and other EU regulations.
• Develop, maintain and improve internal policies, procedures and the compliance monitoring programme.
• Support governance aligned with the three‑lines‑of‑defence model and advise senior management on new initiatives.
• Lead the AML/CFT framework, including risk assessments, onboarding controls, ongoing monitoring and SAR filing.
• Act as primary liaison with the CSSF for supervisory matters, licence conditions and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk and IT on DORA implementation, ICT risk governance and incident reporting.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice to the Board and embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of compliance experience within Luxembourg‑regulated financial institutions.
• Hands‑on exposure to the CSSF supervisory environment and proven ability to manage regulatory expectations.
• Deep knowledge of MiFID II, AML/CFT requirements and the regulatory framework for investment firms.
• Strong track record of navigating supervisory processes and delivering regulatory guidance.
