Testing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Testing Specialist to join our team in Luxembourg on a near‑site freelance basis. The role focuses on preparing, executing, and reporting on application testing activities under the guidance of a Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate testing activities using project management tools and provide regular status updates.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and testing techniques.
• Lead testing of products delivered by other teams, ensuring compliance with requirements and methodology.
• Prepare detailed testing reports and maintain quality plans.
• Identify deviations, assess risks, and propose improvements to testing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT testing/evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1) or French (C1); proficiency in both languages is preferred.

Required skills

• Testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Automated testing tools and creation of automated test suites.
• Project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, Prince2, and ITIL practices.
• Mobile device and OS compatibility testing (optional).
• Change control procedures for test case revisions.
