Senior Associate – Accounting (Luxembourg)

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Associate in Accounting to join its Tax and Accounting department. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support local and international clients on a wide range of accounting, tax and corporate secretarial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GAAP conversion files, primarily converting IFRS/US GAAP to Lux GAAP.
• Review financial statements and other accounting reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review consolidated accounts.
• Manage day‑to‑day client files, handling accounting and tax issues.
• Coach and share knowledge with junior staff to support their development.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree in economics, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting department or tax compliance function.
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS and EU directives is a plus.
• Good understanding of the Luxembourg tax system; international tax knowledge is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; French or German is considered an asset.
