Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Luxembourg Relocation

About the role

As CFO for the Luxembourg‑regulated entity of Satispay, you will safeguard financial integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide fiscal oversight for the European hub. You will act as the regulator‑approved key executive, aligning group‑wide goals with banking requirements while managing the local balance sheet and capital adequacy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver statutory accounts, regulatory filings, and Group consolidation data in line with Lux GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee liquidity risk, client‑fund protection, and treasury activities including cash forecasting and cash management.
• Monitor capital benchmarks, detect market and liquidity exposures, and collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer.
• Represent Satispay to regulators, tax authorities, and external auditors, ensuring successful audit execution.
• Lead Financial Control and Controlling functions, delivering accurate month‑end reporting and management information.
• Manage Finance Operations such as reconciliations, AP/AR, and month‑end close, maintaining a strong control environment.
• Integrate local finance activities with Group Finance, covering reporting, treasury, and planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of senior financial leadership in an EU financial hub, Luxembourg‑regulated payment institution, EMI, or bank.
• Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD, CSSF requirements, Lux GAAP/IFRS, and fit‑and‑proper criteria.
• Proven track record in treasury, financial control, statutory and regulatory reporting, audit management, capital and liquidity management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
