Visual Basic (VBA) Developer – Excel Automation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) consultant to support the optimisation and automation of business processes through Excel‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and maintain VBA macros in Excel.
• Automate data processing and reporting tasks.
• Optimise existing Excel workbooks for performance, reliability and usability.
• Create user‑friendly interfaces using UserForms when required.
• Integrate Excel solutions with data sources such as Access, SQL Server and CSV files.
• Support users during requirement gathering, testing and validation phases.
• Document all developed solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a VBA developer or consultant.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of business processes.
• Independent, detail‑oriented and service‑minded.

Required skills

• Excellent proficiency in Excel VBA.
• Advanced Excel formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in reporting automation and data processing.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to create UserForms and connect Excel to external data sources.
