Transaction & Regulatory Expert - Wholesale Banking Onboarding

About the role

As a Transaction & Regulatory Expert at ING, you are a key partner to Relationship Managers and Product Specialists throughout the client onboarding journey. You coordinate all onboarding activities for new and existing Wholesale Banking clients, acting as the central point of coordination so that clients and internal stakeholders work together efficiently. You work in a dynamic international environment with teams across Wholesale Banking, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product and Service.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and Product Specialists through the onboarding and client lifecycle process.
• Act as the main coordination point for onboarding requests and ensure timely progression.
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding journey from a Front Office perspective.
• Gather information and coordinate documentation requests between clients and ING teams.
• Monitor onboarding progress, identify bottlenecks and drive actions to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate collaboration between Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product and Service teams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting Wholesale Banking growth.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management.
• At least 4 years of experience in client onboarding, client servicing, relationship management support or Wholesale Banking (Corporate & Institutional Banking).
• Good understanding of client lifecycle management and onboarding processes.
• Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory framework and the fund industry.
