Internship - Data Operations Officer

About the role

Within the Data Management department, the Data Operations service updates the administrative data of individual and corporate customers. ING is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship starting in October 2026. Only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that customer KYC and identification data meet current regulatory standards, so that data quality is maintained from the start of the relationship until the account is closed.
• Be familiar with the bank's KYC documents and tools.
• Provide cross-functional operational support to the PB, Retail Banking and Wholesale Banking business lines.
• Participate in improving procedures in line with Group regulations.
• Take part in developing new tools to better cover the Bank's risks.
• Detect administrative anomalies, operational risks or malfunctions that could affect data quality.

Required profile

• 3+ year degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or Law.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• English and French are essential; another language is an advantage.
• Flexibility, autonomy, initiative, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Sense of discretion and confidentiality, team spirit.

Required skills

• Good command of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
