Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with strong test‑automation expertise to join our dynamic, technology‑driven team in Luxembourg. You will work closely with development and product teams to design, implement and maintain robust testing solutions for modern, API‑driven architectures and complex business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive test strategy, including planning, prioritisation and test approach.
• Design, develop and run both manual and automated test cases.
• Create and maintain Selenium‑based automated test scripts and manage the associated test environments.
• Perform API testing using REST Assured for REST and SOAP services.
• Validate end‑to‑end business workflows using Temporal or similar orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and support their resolution.
• Maintain test documentation and ensure adequate test coverage.

Required profile

• Proven experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with Selenium for automation testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with TestNG.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs, preferably with REST Assured.
• Background in testing complex business workflows or orchestration platforms such as Temporal.
• Ability to define and implement test strategies and plans.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
