Test Engineer – Banking Applications

About the role

The Bank is seeking a Test Engineer to support its LAS unit on core lending applications such as Serapis, Iris and CRAFT. The consultant will work closely with business users and development teams to ensure high‑quality releases and provide front‑line support for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line support and resolve end‑user issues on lending applications.
• Execute functional and business testing for new releases and enhancements.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for small projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including business cases, test cases and detailed requirements.
• Manage implementation of projects and maintenance tickets.
• Analyse existing business rules and user requirements for Front‑Office Lending applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 7 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in testing or quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document defects clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in financial services or banking environments is preferred.
