Technical Lead Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead Developer to join the IT department of Lombard International Assurance, part of Utmost International. You will ensure smooth operation and maintenance of our infrastructure and applications, bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design solutions in line with architecture guidelines and best practices.
• Provide technical support to development teams and contribute as a member of a Scrum team.
• Lead the full lifecycle of projects, from design through development, deployment and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, stakeholders, DevOps and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Draft detailed analysis, solution design documentation and schemas.
• Ensure development and deployment processes meet quality standards and architectural decisions.
• Identify and propose improvements to processes, tools, technologies and solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical projects and teams in a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Excellent communication skills to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Pragmatic yet critical approach, capable of challenging solution designs.
