Tech Lead .Net Developer

About the role

Fortil is seeking a Tech Lead .Net Developer for a client based in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of backend projects while mentoring a small team of .Net engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using C# and the .Net ecosystem (Core / .Net 6+).
• Define application architecture, propose patterns such as DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS, and enforce best practices.
• Lead and coach the development team through code reviews, skill development, and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and DevOps to ensure high‑quality, maintainable releases.
• Participate in technical specifications, estimate risks, and manage dependencies.
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of services, including monitoring and optimization.
• Contribute to technology selection, industrialisation, and technical reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or architect role.
• Strong expertise in C# and the .Net ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Proficiency in automated testing (unit and integration) and code review processes.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international, cross‑functional teams.
