Tech Lead C# – Lead Architecture & Development

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead C# to drive architecture, lead developers and ensure technical excellence within our iQ team. You will combine hands‑on C# development with strategic guidance to deliver high‑quality solutions for thousands of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture of new features and system improvements.
• Ensure consistent adoption of engineering best practices, coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Make decisions on tools, frameworks and technologies together with the team and stakeholders.
• Drive modernization initiatives across the .NET ecosystem (e.g..NET 10+, cloud readiness, modularization).
• Develop and maintain core product components using C#, WPF, WebAPI, SQL Server and .NET frameworks.
• Write clean, testable, secure and well‑documented code and oversee complex code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, Support and other teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Mentor and coach developers of varying seniority, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation and technical breakdown of user stories.
• Lead investigation of complex incidents, root‑cause analysis and long‑term fixes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design and C#/.NET (Framework 4.8 and .NET 8+).
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022 or higher, WPF, WebAPI and SQL Server (2016+).
• Good understanding of architectural patterns such as DDD, layered architecture and modular design.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and refactoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) environments.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure), containerization and distributed systems is a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French or German is a strong asset.
