Tax Services Officer

About the role

As a Tax Services Officer you will join Deutsche Börse Group’s Clearstream team, providing accurate tax guidance and processing for client income payments. You will act as a liaison between clients, withholding agents and tax authorities to ensure timely and compliant tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist tax support across multiple markets, ensuring optimal client service.
• Manage the reconciliation and preparation process for tax reporting when Clearstream acts as withholding agent.
• Process payments and submit reports to tax authorities in accordance with local regulations.
• Collect, analyse and disseminate up‑to‑date fiscal information from market sources.
• Maintain regular contact with tax authorities to provide clients with reliable, current tax information.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, clients and tax authorities.
• Provide high‑quality client care throughout tax certification, reclaim and reporting processes.
• Adhere to KYC, control and internal procedures and escalate issues to management as needed.

Required profile

• University degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in finance, economics or law.
• Previous back‑office experience, preferably in tax custody business.
• Client‑focused, proactive attitude with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus.
