Structural Analysis Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join a leading provider of transport solutions. You will work on highly engineered metal structures, performing numerical simulations and technical validation for demanding industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct finite element analysis (FEM) to evaluate strength, stability and durability of metal components.
• Define load cases that reflect real operating conditions.
• Manage the full simulation workflow: modelling (pre‑processing), solving and post‑processing.
• Apply relevant design standards and codes such as Eurocode.
• Prepare detailed calculation notes and technical reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure design consistency.
• Support component standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in structural analysis and use of FEM tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and dynamics.
• Familiarity with industrial standards (e.g., Eurocode).
• Good command of English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
