Structural Analysis Engineer

About the role

Join a leading provider of transport solutions as a Structural Analysis Engineer. You will be at the core of designing and validating highly engineered metal structures for demanding industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform finite element analysis (FEM) to evaluate strength, stability, and durability of metal components.
• Define load cases that reflect real operating conditions.
• Handle the full simulation workflow: modelling (pre‑processing), solving, and post‑processing.
• Apply relevant design standards and codes such as Eurocode.
• Prepare detailed calculation notes and technical reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure design consistency.
• Contribute to component standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with structural analysis and FEM tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanics and dynamics.
• Familiarity with industrial standards (e.g., Eurocode).
• Good command of English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
