Storage and Linux Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

POST Luxembourg is seeking a seasoned Storage and Linux Engineer to join its ICT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise‑grade storage solutions that support critical telecom and postal services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate block, object and file storage platforms (e.g., Dell PowerMax, PowerScale, ObjectScale).
• Maintain SAN fabric environments, ensuring high availability, performance and capacity optimization.
• Provide 3rd‑level support for storage incidents and service requests, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Deploy and manage Linux‑based infrastructure that underpins storage services.
• Participate in on‑call rotation (24x7) and perform configuration changes outside production windows, with appropriate compensation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent recognized experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise storage solutions, preferably Dell Technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel protocols and Brocade SAN fabrics.
• Proficient in Linux system administration; certifications are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
