Solution Architect (AI & Data) - Consulting Manager

About the role

EY's AI practice is looking for a Solution Architect specializing in the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem. This expert-level role covers the full lifecycle of client engagements, from problem analysis and technical feasibility to reference architecture design, team mentorship and process transformation. You will act as the practice's technical authority on large-scale AI projects, working directly with client teams (CIO, CDO, business units) to deliver AI solutions across major sectors in Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client challenges and assess whether proposed AI solutions are technically feasible
• Score and rank AI use cases by business impact and technical complexity
• Help build business cases: technical scope, cost estimates, target architecture and project timelines
• Develop Azure AI reference architectures such as RAG, fine-tuning, AI Agents and MLOps
• Document current processes and propose AI-driven redesigns, including intelligent automation and human augmentation
• Advise clients on security, AI observability, SDLC and technical foundations
• Supervise PoCs, pilots and production deployments of Microsoft AI solutions
• Maintain AI governance: security, GDPR compliance, responsible AI principles and risk management
• Support practice service offerings and methodological frameworks, and mentor junior consultants and technical managers

Required profile

• 6+ years of IT/Cloud solution architecture experience, including 3+ years on enterprise AI projects
• Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Fluent French and English (mandatory); German is an asset

• Microsoft Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Semantic Kernel, AI Search, Document Intelligence, Microsoft Fabric
• AI use case assessment and technical components for business cases
• Process re-engineering (BPR, BPMN, Lean)
• MLOps / LLMOps and enterprise integration architectures (API Management, event-driven)
• Knowledge of Luxembourg financial sector regulations (GDPR, DORA, EU AI Act)
• Valued certifications: AZ-305, AI-102, DP-100, DP-600, TOGAF, CBAP
