Software Engineer – Tech Lead

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to act as Tech Lead for its digital identity and security solutions. The role is based in Capellen, Luxembourg and offers the chance to shape architecture, guide development teams and ensure high‑quality delivery of mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components, integrating them into the delivery pipeline.
• Manage source control, branching strategies and release packaging procedures.
• Design software architecture, model relational databases and fine‑tune performance.
• Write unit and module tests, conduct code reviews and support Level‑3 helpdesk incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, security teams and project managers on change management and technical documentation.
• Contribute to technical chapters of project charters, estimations and implementation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong object‑oriented development background.
• Ability to work autonomously and within agile teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on quality and security.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
