Software Engineer III – Frontend (Account Experience)

About the role

This position is based in Luxembourg and works within a global payments infrastructure platform. You will shape merchant‑facing experiences by building high‑performance, intuitive frontend surfaces for account setup, operational workflows, monitoring tools, and AI‑assisted features.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of frontend initiatives in the Account Experience domain.
• Lead development of merchant setup flows, operational dashboards, monitoring tools, and payment‑related UI surfaces.
• Make architectural decisions, contribute to RFCs, ADRs, and system design discussions.
• Build composable, performant, and accessible UI components for complex financial workflows.
• Monitor production systems, proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain high engineering quality through clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in incident response and communicate resolutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine requirements and improve system design.
• Help raise frontend standards, tooling, and shared architecture across the platform.
• Mentor peers and share knowledge to improve overall engineering quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience delivering production‑scale applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven ability to independently own features from scoping through production deployment.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalable UI design.
• Experience building accessible and maintainable interfaces in high‑impact environments.
