Software Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Software Architect to lead the design and development of sophisticated frontend solutions using React. The role involves shaping architecture, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with backend teams to deliver scalable, maintainable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex frontend applications with React, including micro‑frontends and performance optimisation.
• Define and enforce frontend architecture principles aligned with project requirements and EIB standards.
• Develop reusable components using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS, following best practices for responsive design.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and support full‑stack development, especially in Java Spring Boot environments.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document technical designs, implementation decisions and development standards in English.
• Identify and resolve performance, maintainability and security issues across the application landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex React‑based frontend applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and responsive development.
• Experience integrating frontend solutions with REST APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
• Familiarity with full‑stack concepts, preferably Java Spring Boot.
• Commitment to code quality, testing practices and continuous improvement.
