Software Architect – API & Data Exchange Platform

About the role

Dennemeyer Technology is looking for a Software Architect to lead the design and development of its API and Data Exchange Platform. You will work closely with product managers, business line leads, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and future‑proof solutions that support both internal units and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership throughout all project phases, from discovery to delivery.
• Design and architect container‑based, future‑proof solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Enhance and maintain the API and universal data exchange platform.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure high‑quality code, testing, and security standards.
• Break down work into discrete tasks, define deliverables, and ensure transparent communication across teams.
• Work with IT infrastructure to securely deploy, automate, and maintain applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a software architect or technical lead role.
• Proven track record of leading and coaching development teams.
• Passion for software design and architecture, with an understanding of Conway’s Law.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Object‑Oriented Analysis/Design (OOA/OOD)
• Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, TDD, SOLID principles
• Docker and Kubernetes
• .NET technology stack
• SQL (and knowledge of No‑SQL databases as an asset)
• Agile development practices, especially Scrum
• Front‑end technologies (asset)
