Sociology Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position focuses on ensuring the quality and consistency of sociology‑focused AI training data. You will lead quality assurance efforts, evaluate AI‑generated content, and guide trainers to meet rigorous sociological standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated sociology content and trainer work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on sociological accuracy, methodological rigor, bias, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Activate and manage contributors who are not consistently delivering work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Demography, Criminology, Gender/Ethnic Studies, Public Policy or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sociology research, teaching, policy analysis, qualitative/quantitative research, or academic writing.
• Strong grasp of English for clear written communication and guideline interpretation.
• Deep knowledge of sociological theory, social institutions, inequality, race/ethnicity, gender, class, culture, research methods and ethics.
