Social Media Manager

About the role

Luxembourg for Tourism (LFT) seeks an experienced Social Media Manager to lead Visit Luxembourg’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. You will shape Luxembourg’s image as a travel destination through strategic storytelling and audience‑focused content.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the overall social media strategy, aligning campaigns with communication and marketing objectives.
• Create and publish engaging content, including short‑form video formats, from concept to final post while adhering to brand guidelines and current trends.
• Manage community engagement, exercise editorial judgment, and coordinate influencer collaborations.
• Monitor channel performance, analyse metrics and provide recommendations for continuous optimisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in social media management, preferably in tourism or destination marketing.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, storytelling and content planning.

Required skills

• Proven experience creating social media and short‑form video content.
• Confident use of content creation and editing tools such as CapCut and Canva.
• Excellent writing, communication and visual storytelling abilities.
