Senior UX / Product Designer

About the role

We are a leading international financial institution with a growing technology hub in Luxembourg. We are looking for a Senior UX / Product Designer to scale design impact, raise standards, and deliver better user experiences across our digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment to translate user needs and business goals into compelling design solutions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end design process with a user‑centric approach, ensuring products align with expected customer outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system by creating new components or adapting existing ones for consistency across all digital channels.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, gather insights and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Ensure consistency, coherence and responsiveness of solutions across various platforms, devices and screen sizes.

Required profile

• Degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Media Informatics or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience as a UX Designer with a portfolio demonstrating engaging user experiences.
• Practical experience in qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Strong understanding of the full UX design process from research to implementation.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); French is a strong plus.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit and willingness to travel within Europe when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma for interaction, visual design and prototyping.
• Experience designing web software and applications.
• Knowledge of design thinking methods and ability to moderate collaborative workshops.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
