Senior Test Engineer & Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer & Coordinator to lead the quality assurance lifecycle for new security protocols. You will ensure robustness, compliance, and seamless integration across our high‑security projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering functional, regression, and security testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback on build stability and security compliance.
• Liaise with senior IT business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with project milestones.
• Oversee development and maintenance of automated test suites using Selenium and Katalon Studio.
• Manage the end‑to‑end defect lifecycle, prioritising issues based on security risk and project impact.
• Identify potential bottlenecks in permission redesign and propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide detailed QA status reports, test execution summaries, and go/no‑go recommendations to project leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing or QA coordination.
• Proven experience with Access Rights Management, IAM, or other high‑security environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Selenium and Katalon Studio.
• Strong background in Agile and Waterfall environments and the full SDLC.
• Expert ability to design complex test cases for intricate permission matrices and document protection rules.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, encryption, and data segregation principles.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of explaining technical risks to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to drive the testing agenda in high‑pressure, sensitive projects.
