Senior Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in financial risk and banking applications. The role involves leading the design, maintenance, and enhancement of critical risk‑management systems while ensuring operational stability in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support financial risk applications, including derivatives valuation and liquidity risk modules.
• Oversee infrastructure components such as Windows servers and virtual machines, ensuring proper installation, configuration, licensing, and monitoring.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot automation scripts using PowerShell or Linux shell scripting.
• Manage data flows, perform SQL queries, and support database migrations (e.g., Sybase to MSSQL).
• Provide reporting support using Business Objects, Denodo, and other BI tools.
• Advise on code versioning, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting risk‑management applications.
• At least 3 years working with banking reporting solutions.
• Strong background in infrastructure maintenance and operational troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work in a regulated banking or financial institution.

Required skills

• PowerShell scripting (or Linux shell scripting)
• SQL and relational databases (Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
• ETL tools, preferably IBM DataStage
• Business Objects and Denodo for reporting and data virtualization
• GitHub and/or Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD
• Windows Server administration and virtual machine management
