About the role

Join EY Digital Factory as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) and lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable services that power EY’s digital platforms. You will work hands‑on while mentoring junior engineers and influencing architectural decisions across a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement robust APIs and backend services.
• Ensure high test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for reliable delivery.
• Apply secure coding practices, support compliance audits and maintain security standards.
• Drive automation, reduce operational toil and improve the developer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Agile mindset with strong collaboration and inclusive communication skills.
