Senior React Developer – Software Architect (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a senior React developer to join an established delivery team building large‑scale digital platforms for a European institution. The role is a long‑term freelance contract through December 2027, based in Luxembourg with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance complex React applications using modern front‑end practices and TypeScript.
• Design scalable solutions, including micro‑frontend architectures where appropriate.
• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and technical stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical design, documentation, testing and continuous improvement.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and adhere to modern software engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience building React applications with TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable front‑end solutions and modern application architecture.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and CI/CD.
• Ability to work hands‑on while influencing front‑end architecture.
