Senior PHP Developer

About the role

As a Senior PHP Developer at DNX Network Sarl, you will create and maintain high‑performance back‑end services and APIs that power large‑scale content distribution and payment processing. Working on‑site in Luxembourg, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn business requirements into secure, scalable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP back‑end services and APIs.
• Write clean, testable code and optimise database queries for high‑traffic workloads.
• Review peer code, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure code quality.
• Contribute to front‑end integration and improve overall system architecture.
• Participate in continuous improvement of development practices and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Strong back‑end development experience with PHP and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for end‑to‑end solutions.
• Solid debugging, testing, and version‑control (Git) skills.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (MySQL), performance optimisation and secure coding.
• Background in high‑traffic, transaction‑heavy platforms, preferably payment or anti‑fraud systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly in English, and mentor less‑experienced developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
