Senior .NET Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join our Payments Team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work from our international headquarters in Schengen, Luxembourg, building core services that enable customer onboarding, payments processing, account management and risk assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs using .NET 10 for onboarding, payments, accounts and risk systems.
• Integrate with multiple Payment Service Providers, SEPA messaging workflows and external card issuers.
• Implement monitoring, observability, logging and alerting patterns.
• Provide architectural guidance on service decomposition, API contracts, data modelling and integration patterns.

Required profile

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with a track record of architectural decision‑making.
• Strong background in FinTech, Electronic Money Institutions or Payments.
• Experience with Azure services is a plus.
