Senior .NET & Azure Consultant (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET & Azure Consultant to join a leading global technology client on a long‑term contract in Luxembourg. The position is fully onsite and focuses on designing, developing and delivering scalable cloud‑native applications using the Microsoft technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services architectures and containerised solutions with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Implement event‑sourcing, CQRS and event‑driven patterns using Azure Event Hub or Kafka.
• Build and integrate SOAP and REST APIs.
• Collaborate on front‑end development, preferably with Angular.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Cosmos DB, etc.).
• Tune SQL Server performance and work with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.
• Maintain source control with Git and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Utilise Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) for logging and monitoring.
• Integrate with enterprise tools like IBM IIB (ESB) and scheduling platforms such as Automic.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience developing enterprise‑grade .NET applications.
• Strong expertise in Azure services and cloud‑native design.
• Proven ability to work onsite in a collaborative team environment.
• Solid understanding of micro‑services, containerisation and event‑driven architectures.
