Senior Manager – Fleet Procurement & Capacity Planning

About the role

Amazon’s Fleet Procurement and Capacity Planning (FPAC) team is seeking a Senior Manager to drive optimisation and expansion of its global surface‑transportation fleet. You will shape end‑to‑end processes, launch new fleet operations in emerging markets, and build capabilities for emerging vehicle types.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, design and implement process improvements across procurement, deployment, redeployment and decommissioning.
• Partner with Science and Tech teams to operationalise fleet‑optimisation tools and ensure adoption by execution teams.
• Build and maintain reporting layers that give leadership visibility into fleet health, performance and risk.
• Lead the FPAC expansion playbook for launching fleet operations in new countries and regions.
• Define supplier engagement models and operating mechanisms for new fleet types in collaboration with Procurement and Sourcing.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading cross‑functional teams in logistics, fleet procurement or capacity planning.
• Strong strategic planning skills combined with hands‑on execution ability in fast‑growing, high‑stakes environments.
• Experience working with regional operations, finance, science/tech and external partners such as Fleet Management Companies.
