About the role
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) is seeking a Senior IT System Analyst to lead and support large‑scale information‑technology projects across the full project lifecycle. The role combines technical expertise with strong project‑management capabilities to ensure NATO’s IT systems meet stringent security, availability and interoperability requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and monitor large‑scale IT/Information Systems projects from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate multi‑national, multi‑disciplinary teams, including external consultants, to resolve complex technical issues.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining high security and availability standards.
- Oversee integration, interoperability, EDI, and network/system security aspects of projects.
- Ensure compliance with software development standards and manage automated testing activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (minimum 10 years progressive IT experience).
- At least 3 years of post‑qualification experience in IT system analysis or project management.
- Proven ability to work in multinational environments and lead diverse technical teams.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
- Experience in military logistics, finance or procurement operations is a plus.
Required skills
- PRINCE2® project‑management methodology.
- Microsoft Azure Test Plans (automated testing tools).
- ISTQB® Foundation level certification; ISTQB® Advanced Tester Manager preferred.
- Expertise in EDI, integration, and interoperability.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, network and system security.
- Familiarity with software development standards and methods.
