Senior IT Security Engineer (F5 / Sophos / PKI)

About the role

We are strengthening our Infrastructure & Security team in Luxembourg and are looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer. The role focuses on managing and optimizing key security platforms, improving our security maturity, and providing expert guidance to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and continuously improve existing security solutions.
• Manage, support, and optimise the F5 infrastructure, including load balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) capabilities.
• Administer and enhance Sophos security products across the environment.
• Oversee the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), handling digital certificates and Certificate Authorities.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation for all security processes.
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of security processes and best practices.
• Support internal teams by sharing knowledge, offering technical guidance, and raising overall security maturity.
• Act as the technical security reference for the technologies within the scope of the role.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in IT security engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
