Senior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Senior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its growing team in Capellen. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide advanced technical support and help shape the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑ and third‑level support for complex hardware, software and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage and maintain servers, virtualization platforms and cloud environments.
• Lead incident response, coordinating timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Mentor junior support staff and promote knowledge sharing.
• Design and implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Monitor performance, enforce security best practices and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Operating systems and system administration.
• Networking concepts: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Active Directory, user and group management.
• Server management, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).
• Microsoft Office Suite, email clients and enterprise applications.
• Ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow).
• IT security principles: password policies, phishing awareness, antivirus software.
