Senior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Senior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its IT Operations team in Capellen, Luxembourg. Reporting directly to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide advanced second‑ and third‑level support, lead incident response, and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑ and third‑level technical support for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced problems, including server, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and enterprise systems.
• Lead incident response and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Mentor and guide junior IT support staff.
• Design and implement system improvements and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and enforce security best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IT policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified (advantageous).
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Operating systems and system administration.
• Networking concepts: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Server management, virtualization and cloud environments.
• Microsoft Active Directory user and group management.
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).
• Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise applications.
• Ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• IT security principles including password policies, phishing awareness and antivirus software.
