Senior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Senior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its growing team in Capellen. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide advanced technical support and help shape the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑ and third‑level support for complex hardware, software and network issues.
• Diagnose, resolve and document advanced technical problems.
• Manage and maintain servers, virtualization platforms and cloud environments.
• Lead incident response, ensuring timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Mentor junior support staff and promote best practices.
• Design and implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Monitor system performance, enforce security standards and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and external service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation or Microsoft Certified (advantageous).
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Operating systems and system administration.
• Networking concepts: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Server management, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Microsoft Active Directory, user and group management.
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).
• Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise applications.
• Ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• IT security principles including password policies, phishing awareness and antivirus solutions.
